This page is designed not only to answer common questions people ask
about paintball but also for us to give you an idea about what we expect
from you. Paintball is a hazardous pursuit and
you should be aware of the commitments required from all concerned. If
you have any queries not answered here, please feel free to contact us.
Is paintball safe?
Yes - paintball is very safe, as long as you follow the basic rules and
keep your protective head gear on at all times in the play area you will
be safe. You will be provided with top quality paintball industry standard
head protection and you will be expected to wear it. Failure to comply
with this rule will result in missing games or being disqualified from
the session completely. You will also void your insurance cover.
Does paintball hurt?
Yes and no. It depends on where the paintball hits and how close you were
shot. We have rules about close order shooting, however, most people come
away from paintball with a few bruises but no-one has ever stopped playing
because of it.
How much paint will I use?
That is entirely up to you. Some people can make 100 paintballs last all
day - some shoot 100 paintballs per game! The average usage per day is
300 paintballs on top of the first free 100. We can tell you at any time
how much paint you have used - just ask.
Do I need to sign a disclaimer?
No. Disclaimers have no legal force in paintball. You are fully insured
and your safety is our responsibility. However, there are a number of
paintball regulations in force which you are expected to abide by. You
will be fully briefed before any paintball games take place and the company
will not be held responsible for any incidents arising from failure to
follow the site rules.
Do I need a large group?
No. Our minimum group size is 16 but If you have smaller numbers we can
combine you with other groups to make the numbers up. If you wish to book
the paintball site exclusively for your own group we will require a minimum
group of 20 or a minimum game fee of £400.00
How many paintball games will there be? We usually run at least 8
games per day. If time allows we can run more.
What do I need to bring?
Dress for the weather and bring suitable footwear. You will be given overalls
as part of the protective gear to play paintball. If you are under 18
you must also bring your signed parental consent form. The company reserves
the right to refuse players under 18 without consent forms.
How can I pay?
Cash or cheque with bankers card. We do not take plastic.
I am vegetarian.
When you send in the booking form please specify how many people require
vegetarian meals. We must know in advance as we will not be able to make
arrangements on the day.
I have a medical condition.
If you are on medication including inhalers for asthma we need to know
at the start of the day. We will request this information during the
briefing. There will be at least one trained first aider on the paintball
site at any time.
Do I need to be fit?
No. Paintball is an action sport but you do not have to run from end to
end of the paintball field all day. Quiet stalkers are just as valuable
as the in-your-face Rambos.
